Michelle has been working as a complementary health practitioner for over 11 years, first as a remedial therapist then was quickly drawn into the world of Chinese medicine. She has worked in a variety of clinical environments, including a Sports Medicine clinic, allergy clinic, private practice, and still works in drug and alcohol support.

Whilst Michelle has experience in treating a wide variety of complaints, her principle skills are in treating:

musculoskeletal disorders,

anxiety and depression,

pregnancy/fertility issues,

drug and alcohol issues,

allergies to specific substances and children (ADD/ADHD, poor immune response, eczema, etc).

Michelle has a gentle and supportive nature and works toward finding the right type of treatment for you. She has a ‘hands-on’ approach with most conditions, using massage, cupping, gua sha, and kinesiology methods. Depending on your condition, Michelle may use Five-Element acupuncture, Esoteric acupuncture (based on the Hindu chakra system), or points according to traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis.

Michelle enjoys updating her knowledge in all areas of mindful health and well-being through reading, seminars and through close friendships with many practitioners in different fields. She is also dedicated to tai chi practice in both bare hands and weapon forms.
